Next Generation Leaders Take Helm at Waud Capital

Waud Capital Partners has unveiled a significant leadership expansion that positions the firm for future growth with three partner promotions and one principal advancement. The firm demonstrates its commitment to developing internal talent through these strategic appointments.

Tim Cremieux, who joined in 2017, advances to partner with notable achievements in pharmaceutical services, including leading the recent PharmAlliance platform investment. His rapid rise within the organization showcases the strategic vision for identifying and nurturing emerging talent.

Two long-term team members, Kyle Lattner and Paul Sutphin, who both joined in 2013, have been elevated to partner positions. Lattner has distinguished himself in healthcare services, particularly through his work with Senior Helpers and Mopec Group, building on successful healthcare platforms within the portfolio.

Sutphin has made his mark in technology investments, leading the Science Exchange deal and supporting portfolio companies Fusion Health, PracticeTek, and Sphere. His promotion reflects the investment approach to developing specialized expertise across multiple sectors.

The leadership pipeline extends beyond the partner level, with Mike Lehman’s promotion to principal in the Healthcare Group. Since joining in 2021, Lehman has contributed to key investments including Unifeye Vision Partners and the firm’s newest healthcare venture, Mopec Group. His advancement demonstrates the company’s commitment to developing future leaders.

Strategic growth and expertise have supported the completion of more than 480 successful investments since its founding. The firm’s approach to developing internal talent while maintaining its focus on specialized sectors has supported its growth into a significant middle-market private equity firm.

Looking ahead to 2025, this strengthened leadership team positions the firm to identify and capitalize on new opportunities while maintaining its selective investment approach. The combination of experienced leadership and emerging talent creates a strong foundation for continued success in both healthcare and technology sectors.
